Palakaw means to travel in the Visayan or Cebuano dialect. In this Phase of the training, we call the Palakaw, the blade is literally traveling from one strike to another, while a proficient Baraw Sugbo practitioner deftly blocks and parries each attack, while trying to disarm the blade feeder. Palakaw sessions are fast paced, intense, and lots of fun! It is also a very systematic, battle tested, and lethal blade fighting art that is unique and rare.
