Testing 7mm PRC Federal Terminal Ascent at over 1,000 yards
In this vide we will check claims of accuracy and expansion at over 1,000 yards. We record velocity and impact as well as recovery of the projectile. Using the information collected, here is some of the Terminal Ascent data:
Environment - 6,625 ft above sea level, 85*F, 5 mph left to right wind
Muzzle - Velocity 3,000 fps, Energy 3,398 ft.-lb.
At impact of 1,033 yards - Velocity 1,974 fps, Energy 1,471 ft.-lb.
