Tere Intezaar Mein by M&U
Music and You (M&U) stream was formalised to bring in a visual representation of lives of people who face issues and problems in the society we live in. The motive behind this stream was to bring out conditions of people in the society about whom we read, hear and see, however, we consider them surreal and ignore them, simply because we do not connect with the problem.
Through M&U, an attempt is made to bring out a dramatised version of the lives of such people through actors, lyricists, musicians and above all, a concering social issue.
In this project, titled “Tere Intezaar Mein”, we have made an attempt to break out from the traditional and most contemporary form of musical videos seen nowadays. Tere Intezaar Mein brings out a very touching topic from our society – the lives of soldiers and their kin.
It depicts the emotions of a woman - a soldier’s wife, who longs for a normal happy married life, however, is forced to live a life filled with fear and uncertainty at all times. It also highlights the strength and will-power with which the woman continues to live on, not willing to believe that her husband is now a martyr.
