FWC Youth Gator Hunt
We had the privilege of filming the 2022 FWC Youth Gator Hunt. FIve youths, Five tags to fill. All of the guides are volunteers and avid hunters. We started the adventure with airboat rides out to the Broward Airboat and Halftrack, Conservation Club's camp.
Each youth was assigned to a guide and a guide assistant. The guides taught the youths how to cast the rod, snag the gator, harpoon/crossbow the gator, and use a bangstick. Each youth was successful and performed well during the hunt.
After all, tags were filled, the guides taught the youths how to properly skin and process each gator. It was a great team effort by all.
We are so looking forward to the next hunting trip.
