This week, the formation of bones in your baby’s body begins with the collarbone. In other words, the first bone to form in our body is the collarbone. Afterwards, the lower jaw and upper jaw bones follow.
This week, the nose, nostrils, and ears start to become more defined. Your baby can open and close their mouth, move their head, and move their arms and legs. The liver begins to function. The immune system is maturing. The pancreas starts to produce insulin.
Taste buds appear on the tongue. Hiccups start. Four chambers have formed in the heart. The heartbeat is almost twice as fast as that of us adults.
What should we avoid consuming during pregnancy:
You should not consume unpasteurized milk and cheeses made from this milk.
Avoid foods containing trans fats.
Avoid seafood with high mercury content.
You should also avoid raw seafood.
Raw or undercooked foods may contain toxoplasma and salmonella and can harm your baby.
All vegetables and fruits should be washed thoroughly in plenty of water and consumed only after making sure they are clean.
The amount of alcohol during pregnancy can again harm your baby and may cause mental retardation.
Excessive caffeine consumption is also not appropriate.
And offal. The microorganisms it contains may be high, so it is better to avoid it during pregnancy.
