Izotope RX7 - Remove Hum
Using Izotope RX7 - Remove Hum in De-hum mode like a pro. See how this amazing sound editing software deals with a really obtrusive and loud hum over a quiet instrumental acoustic track. Izotope RX7 is one of the leading music soundscaping audio cleanup plugins for removing background noise plus it's quick to use. The RX7 De-hum plugin is superb for fixing otherwise ruined recordings. This particular recording was made on a catering bus with composer Blair Mowat's (Torchwood / Dr Who, etc.) arrangement of -"Madam Will you Walk?" for lute and ensemble . This was on-location of the set of the BBC3 Production Of Martin's Close (starring Peter Capaldi). The bus was the sourch of the noise! Here we see how Izotope copes with such an impossible recording scenario. The microphone was an AKG C1000 if memory serves, and the lute was close mic'd.
