This is a detailed step by step guide for what you will need and a visual of what you are looking for when targeting Void Opal cores (or any core mining done in icy rings). A lot of the text or photo guides are great and have helped me in the process, but IMO a video leave a little less to question. Links to the websites referenced are linked below.
Some of this may be basic knowledge to some experienced miners, but wanted to be thorough in case there are any beginners getting into mining with these new updates. Please feel free to comment with anything I missed or let me know what you think could be done to improve this guide.
