Babs Fry said she inadvertently “talks program” to pet owners searching for their lost animal. Recovery helped her learn to cope with powerlessness, now she counsels owners on how to do the same. The longer a dog is lost, the higher their likelihood of survival Babs said. Penny was gone longer than a month before she was successfully tracked and trapped by Babs.
