I just wrapped up a new beat - "Snorkel Geyser." It's a groove that blends alternative rock with funk, landing at 110 BPM.
I wanted to create something that blends alt-rock experimenting with a funky bounce. The beat evolves through different hi-hat and snare patterns, keeping things interesting without losing the plot. It's pretty syncopated throughout, but you'll always know where you are in the measure.
One thing I tried differently here: instead of crashing on the one to mark sections, left it up to pattern changes and fills. It gives the whole thing a smoother flow, I think.
There's this two-hand 16th note pattern, and some snare work that kinda nods to 80s alternative tracks we all love. (well, some of us anyway😉)

Drum loops - short excerpts from the full performance, usually one to four measures, cut to repeat seamlessly in a DAW. The building blocks for arranging your own song structure.
Multitrack stems - the raw individual tracks, one file per microphone. For anyone who wants to mix the kit from scratch. 24-bit WAV only.
16-bit WAV - CD quality. Standard for most recording and release work.
24-bit WAV - studio quality. Higher resolution, larger files.
MP3 - smaller file size. Same performance, easier to move around.
About my videos
There are two types on my channel: original beats, which are full recordings with arrangements, and 20-minute versions made from loops for longer practice sessions. The 20-minute beats aren't available as a single download, but grab the loops from the site and you can arrange them yourself - loop them as long as you want.
