A narrative concert film about the New Year's Eve of 1970, "At 13:00 AM"

The film combines live-action scenes with dance and song numbers performed by popular artists of the late 1960s.

It's New Year's Eve. In a forest hut on chicken legs, evil spirits have gathered, led by Baba Yaga—the Water Spirit, the Leshy, the Domovoi, the Ovinny, the Rusalka, and Anchutka—awaiting a "distinguished foreign guest" to celebrate the New Year of 1970. The guest arrives, a small gnome in a red suit who speaks a foreign language (with the Rusalka acting as a translator). The characters sit down at the festive table, sing and dance, but are most captivated by an entertainment program on Central Television. Finally, the entire group is magically transported to the television studio, where they quickly restore order.

The film's action sequences are interspersed with performances by renowned artists of the era—the Polish ensemble "Chervony Gitary," parodist Viktor Chistyakov, gypsy romance singer Valentin Baglaenko, singer Irma Sokhadze, magician Arutyun Akopyan, dance ensembles, and others.
