Poet, Singer/Songwriter, and pastor Shawn Seguin of Walking With Rabbi ministries gives a poetic description of what it is like for the church to ignore the calling of Christ.
This video is set up like a music video. It is real cinematic and it is shot with a quick pace. When Shawn Seguin of Walking With Rabbi ministries came to me he told me that he wanted a professionally shot video of him performing his poem titled Quadriplegic Jesus. Early on we were faced with many challenges. We wanted to visually convey the poem and place Shawn right in the middle making him not only the poet but one of the characters for the story. It took lots of brainstorming but we finally decided to make shawn the nurse who was taking care of Jesus. We placed Shawn in a dark atmosphere while cutting in with shots of the quadriplegic Jesus.
I am so proud of how this video turned out. It is beautiful and honestly every time I watch it never fails to give me chills. Shawn's words mixed with the music and cinematography is absolutely amazing.
