Despite various theories and interpretations, archaeological discoveries have not definitively established their presence. The debate continues, fueled by historical sources and religious texts. Some believe that unexcavated artifacts may hold further clues. Notably, the renowned Egyptologist Dr. Zahi Hawass refuted claims connecting Prophet Idris (Enoch) to pyramid construction, emphasizing evidence supporting other historical figures. As for the Great Sphinx, it dates back to the reign of Pharaoh Khafre, not earlier. The ancient Egyptians associated it with strength, depicting a lion trampling enemies. Regarding Prophet Idris, while some linguistic similarities exist between his name and Osiris, they are not directly linked.
