Most traders use Volume Profile to map where the market spent time, where volume built up, and where price may actually matter. But the map alone does not tell you when to enter.
In this video, I break down my Volume Profile + FVG strategy and explain how I use Volume Profile for context and Fair Value Gaps for the actual entry trigger.
The backtest finished with a 59.8% win rate, 1.96 profit factor, +$8,401 net P&L in the backtest, and 2.1% max drawdown across 82 trades.
But the most important part was the long/short split. The long setups performed much better than the short setups, which exposed the main weakness I would want to study next.
