This wonderful poem was given to me by my dad around the age of 17 and the time came recently to revisit the words as I prepared to hand it down to my own children.
It perfectly sums up the scale of a life and encourages you to settle in for the ride, approach it in good heart, be patient and your rewards will surely come.
