Niri is a beautiful and easy to use scrolling window manager that gives you infinite workspace and stays out of your way.

A patient and entirely apolitical intro... And unscripted — I did my best in post to make sure every other word wasn't "um", I promise, and I tried with the audio.

UPDATE: There's already been some changes since this video was written and released, making like half this video obsolete, but that's a good thing:
1. If you build Niri from its git source, and Waybar from YaLTeR's fork of it, you no longer need my resource-intensive script; it includes niri/workspaces and niri/window as modules for Waybar out of the box. This will probably be added to their respective main branches soon.
2. You don't need to add the "env" stuff to your X11 programs if you add the following to your Niri config:
environment {
DISPLAY ":1"
}

I was going to post links, but Youtube won't let me. Subscribe to my channel to find out why! In the meantime, if you really want the scripts and dotfiles, hit me up on Matrix @ferret:workersofthe.world
