Hear from celebrated conductor Sakari Oramo as he introduces our programme for the BBC Proms on 25 August 2024.
He will lead the joint forces of the Royal College of Music and Sibelius Academy Symphony Orchestras and senior RCM and Junior Department Chamber Choirs in Holst’s celestial masterpiece, The Planets, alongside a world premiere by RCM alumna Lara Poe, and Sibelius’ lesser-known tone poem, The Wood Nymph.
