Vesper - Award Winning 48hfp Short Film
We participated in our first ever "48 hour film challenge" as part of the 2023 Pittsburgh 48hfp Horror/Scifi Edition. We had a small 6 person team and formed "The Weary Travelers". Our Challenge was to create a movie under 7 ish minutes with the following
THE RULES:
Genre "Gothic Horror"
Prop "Adhesive Bandage"
Character name "Shawnda Taker"
Line of Dialogue "I learned this secret long ago".
THE PRODUCTION:
With that, our team from both Buffalo and Pittsburgh had 48 hours to write, shoot and edit the film. We finished the challenge with just two minutes to spare!.. This is our movie that we finished in the nick of time "Vesper".
NOMINATIONS:
Much to our surprise, The film was officially selected as "The top 10 Best Of"
and we were nominated for the following 5 categories:
-Best Leading Actress
-Best Cinematography
-Best Original Music
-Best Use of the Line
-Best Use of Pittsburgh
THE AWARDS:
The film screened live at the top 10 "Best Of" award ceremony on 10-29-2023,

"Best Use of The City Pittsburgh"
We now have a slightly more polished "Final Draft" on the project free to watch. Our film team was, Daniel James, Derrick Lynn Edgerton, Amber Anne, Amelia Favata, David Ogrodowski and Lauren Marie.
