This is the first part of a 3 courses tutorial on Swar Studio, the Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) from Swar Systems. In this session, we will cover the following topics:
What is a DAW
Installing Swar Studio
Using the ASIO4ALL low latency driver
Customizing audio settings
Creating a first song with audio tracks
Recording audio
Editing audio (trim, split, move, fade, group, etc...)
Housekeeping
Mixing
Saving and exporting (MP3)
At the end of this course, you should be able to create your first songs using audio tracks of your recorded voice/instruments on Swar Studio music software. However, you shouldn't miss the next session that explains about MIDI and how it can open up a whole new world of possibilities.
