The Grow & Learn Lady - Physics (Pilot Episode)
A year before Patsy Terrell was a Kansas state representative, she was the Grow and Learn Lady, for a day, anyway.
This came about organically, as we were trying to entertain my mom during her recovery from back surgery and Patsy went into character as a parody of a public access TV host who never actually got around to her announced topic.
This is the first one we shot, and it was really just an impulse at the time with not thought of following it up or publishing it. Patsy was just doing her thing so I grabbed the camera and asked her to do it some more.
We filmed about nine of these and had thought to make a web series. When Patsy decided to run for office, we shelved the idea but planned to return to it later. "Later" came tragically when Patsy died on June 7 of 2017. She wanted these shown eventually, so I'll put them up one at a time.
