Dad Builds Epic Mega Man Costumes His Kids Will Never Forget | Cosplay Tutorial
After building an arcade in my home (see previous video) my kids fell in love with the Mega Man games just like I did as a kid. So I decided to make all of our dreams come true and make some cool electronically enhanced Mega Man costumes so my kids could cosplay at a few conventions. This is their first cosplay ever, so they were not used to all of the attention.
The Mega Busters were modeled and 3D printed in 20 pieces and fitted with a microcontroller board and some NeoPixels from Adafruit. I even created my own version of the sound effects because I wanted it to sound more realistic. The rest was HD Foam and a few LEDs. I hope you enjoy, this was a fun project for me to do for the boys!
