Animation of 12 Pulse Uncontrolled Rectifier
Dear Connections,
Over the past week, I have dedicated my time to animating a 12-pulse rectifier using MATLAB Coding and SIMULINK. I've noticed that current undergraduate students often struggle to stay focused during classes, especially when it comes to the challenging and abstract concepts of Electrical Engineering. Their attention tends to wane just a few minutes into the lesson, making it difficult for educators to convey complex ideas effectively.
To address this issue, I have begun incorporating animation-based teaching methods for Power Electronics circuits. This approach has inspired me to develop an animated simulation of the 12-pulse rectifier operation using MATLAB Coding and SIMULINK, aiming to simplify these difficult concepts and enhance student understanding in a shorter amount of time.
