I still remember how nervous I was 8 years ago to pitch my boss the idea of me working remotely 😅
I stressed for DAYS writing and rewriting the email to ask her for a meeting about it. Now, eight years later, I’m a full digital nomad 🥹 And even crazier? I’M the boss with the team?!
BUT. My team will never have to write that stressful email because they are all fully remote ✨ They can live and work anywhere they want.
I just realised today, at 4:48 AM in Istanbul, while working remotely, what a full circle moment this is. I needed this reminder because after a hard exhausting month - I was beginning to resent the lifestyle I had worked so hard to get 😅
Maybe it’s time for another change, less Travel and more routine.
But I’m still grateful.
From employee to employer, from dreaming to living my dream and trying my best (work in progress!) to hopefully create that opportunity for others ❤️
