Shopify Lite is being replaced by the Shopify Starter Plan.
I was a little shocked when I read this myself.
But:
Let's go over some stuff about this Shopify Starter Plan.
A few key things.
The Shopify Lite Plan is being phased out
It targets the segment of sellers who have built their audience on social media platforms, messaging apps, or other creators/influencer-friendly platforms (ex: Twitch, Spotify).
It’s $5 bucks monthly
Any merchants can stay on the Shopify Lite Plan for the time being
If you switch from the Shopify Lite Plan to the Starter Plan you cannot go back to the Lite plan
The lite plan will be deprecated for new users once the Starter plan is fully launched
