Brisbane Pride At 30 Reunion
Brisbane Pride reaches a milestone in 2020 as they celebrate 30 years. From radical beginnings to commemorate the 1969 Stonewall Riots in New York City, Pride events are held annually around the world as demonstrations for LGBTIQ+ rights and to celebrate achievements, visibility and pride.
Join panellist Jessica Astrid Darcey, Rod Goodbun, Deb Murphy, Taylor Redwood, Philip Sariago, Bec Johnson, Quinn Trimboli with Desi Achilleos in discussing how the Pride movement came about, significant changes that occurred over the decades and where Pride is now, particularly for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTIQ+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy populations.
