Henschel EA 800: Märklin 3044 Complete conversion with new housing, Telex couplers and moving panto
The conversion of this Märklin classic has been on my project list for a long time and - as is often the case - took significantly longer than planned. This was not only due to the installation of the old Telex coupling and the servo drive for the pantograph as well as countless details such as free-standing handlebars, but also the complex conversion of the chassis including the Faulhaber motor and the housing with the characteristic fin blades. The result shows what's inside the Märklin 3044: a real Henschel EA 800.
