In conjunction with the release of the 'Dixon & Trikk' remixes this Friday, here also a videoclip for our song ‚The Canary Inukh‘ which is trying to capture the vibe and showing the environments our music is created in.
Even though we are curious people and enjoy discovering all global cultures, we especially have a relationship with two places in the world: Latin America and the Karst region at the border of Slovenia and Italy.
Latin America not only because we have both met each other in Santiago de Chile in 2006 for the first time and since then have been speaking Spanish with each other. But also because back then we did our first ever track together which finally let to the birth of KEOPE in 2016.
That first track we ever did together in the flat of @LaVecina already had the KEOPE sound to it. We however then only 10 years later started to properly work on our music and also experimented much more during our first ‚real‘ music making session in that abandoned quarry on the Slovenian border. Those recordings then turned out to become the ’Tropicalni’ album which you might know.
For the ‚The Canary Inukh‘ video, one song from our most recent album ’Triangulo’, we had the idea to combine footage from those very different places which however also connect seamlessly: making music outside in plain nature and under the clear sky is a sacred and everlasting experience - and it doesn’t matter in which country or nation this happens.
