From ripening blood oranges to blossoms.
Only a few more weeks until the blood oranges will have nicely developed their deep red hearts. 🍊 Littlest garden visitors can peep the newly-planted prickly pears at eye level, but don't get too close!
In last week's workshop, head gardener Alex Bosman shared the functions of fungi and tricks to cultivate oyster mushrooms. Guests filled their own oak logs with shiitake plugs, to grow and harvest mushrooms at home. 🍄
🌸 EARLY BLOSSOMS can be seen in the stone fruit block. . Spring is coming!
Pick a slice of winter greens (as seen from above our veggie garden). We practice crop rotation to support healthy soil and growth throughout the season.
In the late afternoon, our chickens retreat to the coop for their evening slumber.
