Yatagarasu | By: Riot & others | (Extreme Demon) | Geometry Dash [2.1]
I haven't felt this relieved in a long time. This is a level I've been meaning to beat for over 2 years, and the first time I tried to was over a year ago, but I made no significant progress. I came back to it recently and managed to squeeze it out of my way in 9 days of playing over a 2 week break, which I'm really happy about. The first time I tried this, it turned into the worst, most insufferable thing ever and I hated every second of playing it, but it was a blast coming back to, I loved playing it and was so happy everytime I got far and/or made progress. Things took a drastic turn for the worse when I died at 97% though, and it was really hard to get back into a good mindset from there, but thankfully I managed to do so today, and finished it on stream. This is my 70th extreme demon and my 4th hardest demon; thanks to everyone who attended the streams and witnessed the completion, you guys really helped me push through by simply being there. Anyway, 97% fail put aside, this was a very enjoyable level for me because my first attempt at beating it over a year ago turned out horrible, and made me come back to it with very low expectations, making me extremely tolerant and patient with it. You need to genuinely expect the worst of the worst from this level if you don't want a terrible experience. Would only recommend this to really good and patient players, or players who are into very stressful and long levels.
Oh and I have now completed the RGB trio, which I'm quite happy about as well. Personal opinion on difficulty would be SW, then Yata being a little easier, and then Erebus being significantly easier than both. As for what's next? I don't know, I really don't. Gonna attempt to catch a bit of a break for a little while before I go for anything harder than this. Next hard level I'll be doing over Christmas break will be either Visible Ray, Ouroboros or Bloodlust. I want to have the 3 of them done by Summer break, and then focus on Zodiac again as a better player than I was the first time I tried it. I'll be practicing one of these 3 levels on and off over weekends and hopefully be ready to beat it over my next break.
