Ansys has taken the application of GPUs as CFD simulation accelerators to a new level with the introduction of the Native Multi-GPU solver in Ansys Fluent. By running the solver code natively on GPUs, the full potential of GPUs can be harnessed, resulting in remarkable speed, cost savings, and reduced power consumption compared to CPU-driven solvers. This video gives an overview of the course, which consists of three simulation examples, that explore the modeling capabilities and solver features supported by the GPU solver in Ansys Fluent 2023 R1.
