Sarasota was hit hard as Debby came through super slowly in August 2024. Unprecedented flooding occurred very quickly overnight. My parent's home had 5 ft or more of water and many, many others very similar. It was a devastation. They prepared for some flooding but no one expected it to be this bad. Thank you for your concern.
