Ave Maria, Bach/Gounod
Bach wrote a Prelude & Fugue in C for harpsichord, which is a colorful chord progression for the Prelude section. Gounod much later added a melody to this Prelude & called it "Ave Maria". I had to rework the two handed prelude so I could play it with one hand and the melody with the other.
