I started The Crystal City in 2021 after I had a vivid dream of a giant Crystal City.
In the dream I was sitting on a hilltop somewhere in the great plains. The sun was setting and in the distance I could see giant skyscrapers made with what looked like Emerald. I could see smaller buildings shining in the sunlight that where white and looked like they were made of pure Quartz.
With this vision in mind, I went out into my backyard at like 3 in the morning and was just looking at the stars. After being out there for about 10 minutes a Chord Progression started playing in my head.
I went inside and put it down In FL Studio and after I did that the Guitar Melody popped into my mind and that's how the track started.
From there I put down the Bouncy Bassline for the Drop then threw a Metallic Lead on top of that for a Crystalized Vibe.
