Startup company "QR id ME" will provide name badges with QR codes personalized with contact information by attendees to organizations managing events (meetings, conventions, etc.).
Proposed as an idea on the evening of Friday, April 15, 2011, seven volunteer "staff" created a working prototype of the software-as-a-service product and produced a business plan and investment pitch proposal that was presented to a panel of venture capitalist judges on the afternoon of Sunday, April 27, 2011, after less than 40 hours of intensive work.

The Nashville Startup Weekend (http://StartupWeekend.com) was conceived from the fertile mind of Nicholas Holland, CEO of Centresource (http://Centresource.com), and hosted by J. Tod Fetherling, President of the Nashville Technology Council (http://TechnologyCouncil) at the Entrepreneur Center.
Of the thirty proposed business ideas, QR id ME was chosen as one of five startup companies to be produced during the intensive weekend. All work was volunteered.
