First, you’ll want a shade cloth that you can use as temporary shelter on a portable trailer. This will provide them with a reprieve from the hot sun and allow them to move around and rest safely in the shade. You can get a special axle with a toungue, so your trailer can be pulled by a four-wheeler or some other vehicle, making the shade cloth mobile.
Second, you’ll want to make sure your pigs have access to water and mud. Pigs will cool themselves off by wallowing in the mud during hot weather. Make sure you keep your mud pit full of clean water for them to wallow in.
