I Went Off the Track! First Motorcycle Track Day
If you own a super sport motorcycle, you should at least try to learn how to really ride it...and so I did. I took my Kawasaki ZX-6R to the track for the first time during an N2 Track Day.
Since this was my first day, I was assigned to control riders for the first few sessions. The control riders showed me good lines to follow and a good pace to get me started. I started the day with a lap pace of 3:18, and by the end of the day, got it down to 2:26!
Unfortunately, I made lots of mistakes throughout the day, including bad foot position, which led to clipping my foot on the ground twice, and a bad line that led me off the track.
