Traxxas 4-Tec RWD Shakedown Out Of Box
FINALLLYYYYYYY I found time to get this car filmed! :D Do I like it? Oh yiss! Do I already know how I want to tune it? OH YISS!!! Many people say this car is "untunable from the box"...wrong. Many also say this cannot drift well or even hang with proper purpose built kit cars...also wrong. In this video I illustrate the very good things and a few small issues but overall I am showing the huge potential to ANYONE thinking about getting one of these machines. The big takeaway really is that this car is a perfect fit for the beginner and someone completely new to the R/C hobby in general. Also the officiall licensed Ford Mustang Dark House Version body shell with mounting clips is a very nice addition. Big shoutout to Matt from Scale Builder's Guild for lending me this particular 4Tec so I could film this shakedown. He also gave me permissions to do some tuning etc to the car so I am very interested in seeing what I can get this machine to do once I start making some changes. In the next 4Tec video I will have a better understanding of the chassis and how to tune it :) So far with very light tuning after shooting this video...steering angle has increased a small amount and driveability improved but now I am noticing already want to install competition spec electronics and go full ham sandwich on this machine :D Shoutout to Team Strickly Sidewayz Driver Bryan C for piloting this beautiful machine!
