Moonshine is prepared on a moonshine still Compact - spirtkolonna.kh.ua

Moonshine from corn
corn flour - 1 kg
green malt - 150-200 g.
yeast - dry - 4-5 g.
water - 5 l.

Cooking process
Heat the water to 50C, and pour in the flour in a thin stream, stirring well. When you have stirred well, let this porridge stand for 15 minutes at this temperature, stirring occasionally. Then, raise it to 65 and again give a pause of 15 minutes, also stirring occasionally. Then turn on the heat to maximum and hold for another 15-20 minutes, stirring. As a result, the flour should boil down and turn out to be a homogeneous mass, not very thick, if thick, you can add water during the boiling process.
After that, cool to 65C. While cooling, grind the malt in a meat grinder or blender.
The porridge has cooled to the desired temperature, add the malt, mix everything well. If the mass has become liquid, then we are doing everything correctly. Wrap the container with the mash in rags-blankets for 3-5 hours or overnight.
The time has passed, unroll the blanket, measure the temperature, we need about 30C, if higher, then wait until the mash cools. While the mash is cooling, dissolve the yeast: dry - just pour warm water in a ratio of 1/10. In about 15 minutes, the yeast will be ready.
And so we add the yeast at a mash temperature of about 30-35, mix well and put it to ferment. In this case, a water seal is not needed, since fermentation lasts from 1.2 to 5.6 days. Fermentation takes place in a warm place, from time to time I heat the mash with an electric mat. If you did everything correctly, then fermentation begins in 2-3 hours.
When the mash has played out: fermentation has stopped, no bubbles, a clear alcoholic smell, no sweetness to the taste and a little bitter. Then it's time to distill.
Before distillation, if your flour was coarsely ground or the malt was not very finely ground, it is better to filter the mash through cheesecloth ... in order to remove large parts that can burn. This is if your distillation will take place by direct heating, like mine.
Distill the first time without sorting into fractions and distill to the "last degree", that is, sort everything.
After the first distillation, you can carry out an intermediate purification.
Before the second distillation, I dilute the raw alcohol with clean water to about 20-25%. I heat it slowly and collect the head fractions on low heat drop by drop, I collect the heads based on the smell, about 5-10% of the total alcohol. I finish collecting the middle fraction at 45-40 degrees in the stream. The moonshine at the outlet should not be warm, but rather cool.
After the second distillation, tritium can be produced in the same way.
The finished product can be purified with coal - charred.
