El ejército israelí bombardeó el martes la Franja de Gaza de norte a sur en su continua ofensiva contra el movimiento islamista Hamás, tras conocerse la muerte de cuatro rehenes cautivos en este territorio palestino.
Casi un mes después de que Israel iniciara su ofensiva terrestre contra Rafah, al sur de la Franja y fronteriza con Egipto, se volvieron a registrar combates en otros sectores del territorio palestino.
