Today we dig into how to setup OpenClaw x Hermes Agents shared communications.
In this video, I walk through the real debugging process we used to get Muddy/OpenClaw talking to Hermes agents through Discord. The big lesson: agent-to-agent communication is not magic. It is routing, permissions, mentions, and protocol.
We created a new shared Discord channel for Hermes/OpenClaw communication, tested role mentions vs user mentions, found a missing Discord binding, fixed allowBots and Neo allowlist issues, and learned the hard way that manual send is not the same thing as automatic wake.
