2020 Mercedes AMG A35 4MATIC
Features four-cylinder 2.0-litre turbo engine with 306 hp and 4MATIC all-wheel drive.Available in three model lines: Mercedes-AMG A 35 4MATIC; AMG A 35 4MATIC Premium; and AMG A 35 4MATIC Premium Plus
The A 35 4MATIC is the new entry-level model from Mercedes-AMG
It features a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, producing 306 hp and 400 Nm of torque
It can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.7 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph – the saloon takes 4.8 seconds. It can deliver between 35.8 and 34.0 mpg (combined) with CO2 emissions from 180 g/km (saloon: between 36.7 to 34.9 mpg and emits 174 g/km)
The AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7G dual-clutch transmission has been configured so the driver experiences spontaneous acceleration in all speed ranges, combined with fast shifting.The variable AMG Performance 4MATIC system combines the best possible traction with driving thrills. The torque distribution is variable to suit the conditions - the spectrum ranges from front-wheel drive only to a 50:50 per cent distribution to the front and rear axles.The five AMG DYNAMIC SELECT driving programmes “Slippery”, “Comfort”, “Sport”, “Sport +” and “Individual” adjust the vehicle characteristics according to the driver’s preference
The AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension layout is based on that of Mercedes-Benz A-Class with excellent straight-line stability and highly dynamic cornering behaviour. MacPherson suspension struts are used on the front axle, paired with a multi-link rear axle
The A 35 features an AMG-specific radiator grille with twin-blade lamella; rear apron with diffuser insert; AMG bodystyling including front splitter; and designo seat belts in red.
Standard equipment includes: MBUX multimedia system with ‘Hey Mercedes’ voice activation; a seven-inch digital cockpit display and 10.25-inch central media display; Active Lane Keeping Assist and Speed Limit Assist; 18- inch five-twin spoke AMG alloy wheels; AMG suspension; AMG performance steering wheel in Nappa leather; high-performance braking system with AMG lettering; reversing camera; Keyless-Go starting function; smartphone integration, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; and automatic two-zone climate control.
