This video tutorial explains the VPython simulation of the motion of the electron around the nucleus of an atom using Coulomb's law of electrostatic force between electron and nucleus. We have assumed that the nucleus is stationary and have used only Coulomb's force. We have neglected the effects of relativity, quantum mechanics and magnetic moment, etc. to keep the simulation easier for a beginner.
