Title: Five Elements of Ideal Healthcare in a Perfect World

An IGNITE talk is meant to enlighten the audience, but be brief. The presenter shows 20 slides that automatically advance every 15 seconds. This means you get 5 minutes to present your topic.
In preparing this talk I learned a few things. First, putting together an IGNITE talk is not easy. It is incredibly difficult to discuss a solution to America's Healthcare problem, let alone in 5 minutes. But more imporantly, the process of trying to focus my point in five minutes gave me more clarity on the problem. The underlying issue to our problem is communication.
We need to build healthy communities modeled after the blue zones. This shifts the focus away from last minute expensive care. The five elements of ideal Healthcare are (in the order in which I believe they should be executed):
1. Empowering people
2. Easy design
3. Focus on Preventative care
4. Inclusive
5. Efficient
My hypothesis is that if we empower people (particularly marginalized groups) and build disease preventing cities like the blue zones, they will automatically be inclusive and efficient.
