What We've Done & What's Next for Lighthouse Immigrant Advocates
LIA's Program Director, Maggie Haveman-Gould, visited in Intersection Ministries of Holland in December 2023 to give an update on the world of immigration in our community. Intersection Ministries is one of several local faith organizations that supported LIA in growing their asylum program - first in response to Afghan refugees resettling in Michigan in 2021, and later meeting the needs of other recent arrivals seeking asylum.
