Zettelkasten note-takin method made simple | Build Your Second Brain Series (8/10)
I made 4000 notes in a year and learned so many topics using only a simple method named Zettelkasten note-taking system. This video explains the Zettelkasten note-taking method, focusing on three types of notes:
1. Fleeting Notes: These are temporary notes taken quickly to capture any idea that comes to mind, serving as a reminder of what's in your brain. They are fast and simple, like using Google Keep.
2. Literature Notes: When reading books or articles, these notes are created with proper references, written in your own words, and kept concise in bulleted format. The goal is to make them easy to understand and remember later.
3. Permanent Notes: This is the most crucial type. You connect your fleeting and literature notes to build concrete ideas and create something new of your own. The video emphasizes that this method helps in solving problems, becoming more knowledgeable, and expressing oneself, inspired by the prolific sociologist Niklas Luhmann.
