The Bad Guys are back with a sequel in 2025!
Today, the release date for the first official teaser trailer of the new animated sequel from DreamWorks Animation, Universal Pictures, and director/writer Pierre Perifel was confirmed: The Bad Guys 2. So in this video, I'm going to tell you everything we know, everything you need to know, and everything about the new DreamWorks franchise film: The Bad Guys 2. The trailer will premiere at the end of November with the release of Wicked or Moana 2, although there's also the possibility it will premiere with Sonic 3 or Dogman. The release date is August 1st, 2025, or sometime in the summer of 2025—that's in one year. This information comes to us thanks to the Twitter account X: Cryptic HD QUALITY or @Cryptic4KQual. The trailer will be 2 minutes and 12 seconds long and will also feature the first official logo.
We discussed the future of DreamWorks, my opinion of the first film, and the whole truth about this confirmed sequel. The first film was very successful at the box office, and now they're called The Good Guys, with their newest member, Diane Foxington (The Crimson Paw).
And I'll give you the synopsis of the movie. We'll talk about the story, what's going to happen, or the plot of the film, about the protagonists and main characters, who are our favorite group of criminal animals: The Bad Guys. The movie will deal with the group's conflicts now that they're The Good Guys, and how they adapt and accept that they now have to be heroes or good people, while they have to come out of retirement because a group of female criminals forces them to do one last heist or job as the villains or thieves they used to be: The Bad Guys.
