This cool effect can be used to wrap an existing texture or pattern around an object such as a car, or even somebody's face, i show how to wrap a tiger pattern around a vehicle in my tutorial, this effect can be seen in many places most usually for advertisements.
I also show you at the beginning how to create the displacement map that you will use to wrap the texture around an object or person's face using the displace filter.
