PARMENIDES X - Table ronde 3.1 / Round table 3.1
Coorganisée par le CIHEAM et le GID, la Xe Conférence PARMÉNIDES a réuni à l’Institut Agronomique Méditerranéen de Chania (Crète, Grèce) de nombreux intervenants pour échanger sur l’avenir des forêts méditerranéennes autour du thème “Les arbres et la forêt face aux changements globaux : Les pays méditerranéens à l’avant-garde”. La dernière session, “Répondre aux défis climatiques et sociétaux auxquelles les forêts méditerranéennes font face”, débute avec cette table ronde intitulée “Défis climatiques et sociétaux : des moteurs d’innovation”, qui oriente la discussion vers le lien qu’entretien la société avec la forêt et comment ce lien peut-être porteur de solutions face aux crises actuelles.
Coorganized by the CIHEAM and the GID, the Xth PARMENIDES Conference has brought together numerous speakers at the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (Crete, Greece) to discuss the future of Mediterranean forests under the theme “Trees and Forest Facing Global Change: Mediterranean Countries At The Forefront”. The last session, “Responding to the climatic and societal challenges facing Mediterranean forests”, starts with this round table titled “Climate and societal challenges: drivers for innovation”, which focuses the discussion on the link between the forest and societies and how this link can provide solutions to the current crises.
