If you've read Lostland, you know her already - one of the most brilliant authors our fandom has to offer and she's at it again with Tryptych ;)! This story plays out in the ABO universe (for those unfamiliar - people present with alpha/beta/omega characteristics/dynamics similar to those in wolf packs), BUT... unlike many other stories that incorporate the ABO!verse, this one has a very special twist to it that makes it very much stand out from the rest (and no, I'm not spoiling anything ;p). Daebon explores the world and characters in lots of detail, offering you a view into society not unlike the one we live in, but thanks to the nature of ABO, natural instincts and primitive impulses are at the very forefront for us to experience - from innocent to the most debauched. And for a while you might think it's as simple as 'alphas rule them all'. You can almost touch the frustration of some characters that comes with the realization that no matter how hard you try, you can never change what body you were born into, and therefore how you're treated in society and by individuals who have their own perceptions and ideas of who you are. This astonishing work of fiction is very much a deep psychological journey into the darkest parts of our souls, and among others things shows us how far one would be willing to go to feel empowered, to find their own identity and a sense of true self. It's absolutely fanscinating to watch unravel - how the characters reconcile with the past, present and future. There is murder, lots of shocking(ly hot) sex and as you can probably tell from the trailer - idols and clubs and everything you never knew you wanted in a fic ;).
