This video gives you tips on how to be an active reader. What does it mean to be an active reader? It means to think about what you are reading and give your brain a kind of "workout" while you read.

When you read, you can ask a lot of questions. You can ask questions before reading, while you read, and after reading. To get practice, I recommend asking a lot of different questions at first.

Who? What? When? Why? Where? How?

Tip: Don't ask questions you already know the answer to.

Then, you can think about asking higher-order thinking questions and use Bloom's Taxonomy to ask these kinds of questions.
