I decided to attempt to install Windows 98 using the floppy disk installation using 86Box, the floppy disk install is slightly different compared to the CD installation that we all know about. You may noticed on the floppy disk installation of Windows 98 it's like a very stripped down version of Windows 98 due to the floppy disk storage constraints. The installation look a very long time due to switching out each installation floppy through the installation. The sound in 86Box kind of stutters even though I'm using SoundBlaster card in the VM. In the next video, I'm going upgrade Windows 98 First Edition to Second Edition. You may also notice the floppy disk version of Windows 98 doesn't include none of the error sounds in the Media folder so it's comes with The Microsoft Sound.wav similar to the default installation of Windows 95 when select the default components.
